Who We Are

CAN is a non-profit organization managed entirely by students. Legally, it is a 501(c)(3) corporation with a student board of directors that meets regularly during school lunches. CAN maintains an inventory of computers, employs supervisors and support staff, and provides scholarship and other funding to noteworthy organizations. Check out the following pages to meet the people who make CAN work!

The CAN Board

CAN is managed by a group of Cody High School students known as The CAN Board.  These students meet once a week to plan events and make decisions about the direction of the CAN Program, and have big meetings to manage the budget and make sure taxes are paid and other business stuff.  Because the CAN Board is made up of students, CAN is guaranteed to be relevant in the student community!

Organizational Support (Debbie White)

CAN's daily operations are organized by Debbie White and several CAN Interns.  This group is responsible for making sure CAN's commitments are fulfilled, and for making sure things get done after the CAN Board decides to do them.  If you've ever had a Pizza Lunch with a Trading Card Member it's because the Organizational Support team worked with your teacher, acquired food, and scheduled a high-school student to meet you!

Technical Support (Amos Olson)

CAN's unique technical offerings are developed and maintained by Amos Olson and CAN Technical Interns.  The Technical Support team is responsible for making sure CAN's technical ideas come to life.  If you've ever used your CAN Card to log into a CAN Computer or had your picture taken while playing DDR, it's because CAN's Tech Team made it happen!
