It’s that time again: Cody’s World Famous Stampede Parade!  As always, CAN made a float for the parade, and it was a lot of fun.  In fact, we were one of the top Youth Organization Entries!  Several CAN Trading Card Members rode the float with middle school and elementary CAN Members, while more CAN Members ran along the parade route handing out trading cards to kids from around the country.

One kid from another state was heard saying “mom, we should move to Cody… then I could be on a trading card just for swimming!”

We’ll have pictures from the parade online soon.  In the meanwhile, have a GREAT 4th of July!

And of course, it still pays to be a CAN Member even during the summer.  You can still get discounts with your CAN Card all around town, and you can use your card while you’re at the Rec Center to play some of your favorite games.

NOTE: The CHS CAN Lab is closed this summer while we work on some new projects.  The Rec Center is still open though!

This Friday CAN is hosting the last big middle school event of the year: DODGEBALL!  Put your teams together as soon as possible and turn in the completed forms to Mr. Eckley or Mrs. Catanzarite.  Then show up on Friday to show off your amazing team outfits and crazy dodgeball skills!

Remember, each team needs 6 players and at least 2 girls!

CAN is hosting a dance at the middle school on Friday, March 19th.  Come celebrate the end of winter with great music and all your friends!

• Dancing!
• Basketball!
• Food/Drinks!
• Guitar Hero!
• Photos!

This is not a formal dance, but you can definitely dress up if you want to.

How much ? $5/person… FREE for CAN Members! (that’s just about everybody)

But wait, there’s a catch!

You need a ticket to get in.  Every girl at CHS is getting a personalized ticket that will let them in.

What about the guys?  Well, the girl’s tickets each have a blank box… guys need a girl to get in!
