Basketball fans: Jake’s School of Hoops is just around the corner! This year Jake Hannon will be running the 3rd annual basketball camp from June 2nd - June 6th (the very beginning of summer). The camp is for all current Cody students through 7th grade… we will be sending out entry forms to you soon! CMS Lock-In
CAN 8th Graders: we are hosting a lock-in event for you on Friday, May 16th. It will be held at the high school, starts at 7pm and isn’t over until 7am… it goes all night long! There will be a lot of games and activities, and a bunch of high-school students will be there to keep the party going. Be sure to get a permission slip filled out if you plan to attend! Mrs. DuFloth’s 5th grade classroom has reached 100% membership… every student in the class is a CAN Member! To celebrate this awesome fact, CAN is hosting a party in the classroom this Thursday. Amos and a bunch of high school students are bringing in a whole stack of pizzas from Pizza on the Run, setting up DDR, and hanging out for an hour or so. It will be a blast! Elementary Fun Night
Cody Elementary Students… are you ready to party with a couple hundred of your closest friends? CAN is hosting a party for all 4th and 5th grade students in Cody schools! You should probably tell your parents about it so they know where you’re gonna be next Friday night: What? Elementary Fun Night hosted by Cody CAN This is one party you don’t want to miss! Cody CAN is hosting a dance for Cody Middle School students on Friday, December 14th. Everyone is invited! Please bring a can of food to get in (all food will go to Cody Cupboard for charity). When/Where: Friday, December 14th. 6-9pm. @ Cody Middle School Who: All Cody Middle School Students (only CAN Members are eligible for prizes) Cost: You must bring a can of food for charity to get in the door. Bring some money if you want pizza and pop. Raffle tickets for some great prizes will also be available (CAN MEMBERS ONLY) Attire: “Nice/festive”. No jeans, no street clothes. This is not a barn dance, a street dance, or a dirty dance. Girls: Please wear a dress, skirt, or dress pants. No spaghetti straps, off-the-shoulder dresses, bare-midrifs, etc. If you decide to wear something skimpy then you won’t be allowed inside. Boys: Please wear khakis, cords, slacks, or other dress pants with a nice shirt. No baggy pants, no shirts with funny/stupid/offensive sayings on them, etc. If you decide to dress badly then you won’t be allowed inside. Dufloth DDR

Mr. Laing’s 4th grade class is the first to invite CAN to play DDR at Livingston elementary this year! We will be bringing in the big pads and playing for an hour or so Wednesday morning… we’ll see if Mr. Hume can dance as well as he can kick!!! -Amos and Meredith Strike DDR

Congratulations to Mrs. Livingston’s 5th grade class: you are the first class to reach 100% CAN Membership this year! Every student in the class is now a CAN Member… that’s amazing! In appreciation of this achievement, CAN is throwing a pizza party at the end of December for the whole class. We’ll show up with a stack of pizzas and people from all your favorite trading cards… maybe we’ll get to play some DDR or cupstacking or whatever! WAY TO GO MRS. LIVINGSTON’S CLASS!! Sunset Carnival
