Hundreds of CMS CAN Members showed up Friday night to party with their friends at CAN’s second middle school dance of the year!  People danced, hung out, played basketball, ate pizza, rocked Guitar Hero, and basically went crazy for a couple of hours… it was a great time!

Cody CAN is hosting a dance at the middle school on Friday, January 29th!  The theme is "sports colors"… wear the colors of your favorite team!

The doors open at 6pm and the dance goes to 8pm.  There will be great music, great people, and tons of fun!

This dance is for Cody Middle School CAN Members only.

Not a CAN Member?  You can sign up in the office at any time!

On Saturday, January 16th CAN held it’s first annual MORP Dance.  Tons of students showed up wearing some of the most ridiculous…. err, some of the most awesome outfits ever!

MORP is “prom” backwards.  Like, really backwards.  Girls ask guys.  Terrible outfits are encouraged.  Informal doesn’t even describe it… this is the one time when your dad’s powder-blue polyester suit might actually come in handy!

Here’s the details:

When? Saturday, January 16th
When? 9pm – midnight
Who? All CHS Students (and only CHS Students…)
How much ? $5/person… FREE for CAN Members! (that’s just about everybody)

But wait, there’s a catch!

You need a ticket to get in.  Every girl at CHS is getting a personalized ticket that will let them in.

What about the guys?  Well, the girl’s tickets each have a blank box… guys need a girl to get in!

Cody CAN teamed up with the Cody Cubs to make a great float for this year’s Stampede Parade! The Cody Cubs players waved pennants for their cheering fans, while CAN Members passed out tons of our great Trading Cards. Everyone had a lot of fun!

On Friday, April 24th, hundreds of 4th and 5th grade CAN Members came to the rec center for the 2009 Elementary Party. It was tons of fun! There was basketball, dodgeball, face painting, DDR, Guitar Hero, limbo, pictures, food… and lots more! The high school CAN Members had a total blast hanging out with the elementary members.

CAN’s CMS Dodgeball was a big success! Over 120 CAN Members battled it out for hours in front of a huge crowd, and everyone had a great time. In the end, the Mojo Monsters managed to win the championship. It was a great night!

Congratulations 8th graders… you beat the high school team fair and square!
